No more rejection – youth perspectives are calling for action

We are Tampere Peace Network, in collaboration with Rauhankasvatusinstituutti (RKI), a group of young people bringing people together through community, dialogue and different events in Tampere.

This event is co-funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ Youth Participation Activities project.

At Näkymä Festival, we will facilitate a panel discussion between members of our community and decision-makers. The discussion will focus on young people’s experiences of different forms of rejection and exclusion, including rejection from employment, institutions and systems, decision-making spaces and dialogue, citizenship, and broader social inclusion.

The experiences and concerns we bring to the discussion have been gathered through different projects and community events. Through the panel, we want to make young people’s perspectives, experiences, and concerns heard, create space for meaningful dialogue with decision-makers, and encourage acting and public responsibility around these issues.
